On March 15 2025, Featherston hosted the Wairarapa’s first pride parade and festival.

Over 500 of our rainbow and takatāpui community (and allies) took to Featherston’s streets, decorated their houses, or attended our events across the day - in a glorious celebration of aroha, gender expression/identity, and sexuality.
